Separate cosmetic and functional goals

Define variants that change scope

Write whether the plan is primary or revision, open or closed, and includes septoplasty, turbinate work, osteotomy, tip work, or cartilage grafting and its donor site.

Discuss nasal and airway risks

Plan long-term review beyond the trip

Treat flying as a clinical and carrier question

CDC gives a general seven-to-ten-day reference for facial, eyelid, and nasal cosmetic procedures, but it cannot be converted into individual clearance. ^[1]

Current bleeding, swelling, packing or splints, airway, pain, route, other risk factors, and carrier requirements all need attention. ^[1][3]

Audit question: What findings delay departure, who reassesses them, what forms apply, and how are mobility support and protection from accidental impact arranged?

Keep cost and verification precise

Ask whether functional work, graft harvest, imaging, anesthesia, facility, splints, follow-up, and revision terms are included; separately verify CMCPER and the operating site. The Mexico study reports insufficient comparable evidence for a primary-rhinoplasty range.
